Nuvola Distribution has worked closely with QDOS who have a particularly strong presence in the hospitality industry and in 2016 Nuvola have assisted in the entry of QDOS into the ALE market. Nuvola presented the full range of product portfolio, which QDOS recognised as a robust alternative to their traditional products. Nuvola has worked closely with QDOS on a number of high profile accounts including, Gleneagles hotel and Park Plaza Hotels chain, with Nuvola providing design consultancy assisting QDOS to win significant contracts.
Nuvola then facilitated a mutually beneficial relationship between QDOS and ALE, which provides flexible and bespoke maintenance and support. This delivered a creative way of offering ‘retainer-style’ contracts at extremely attractive commercial break points, allowing QDOS to be competitive in the Nortel legacy support market. Which in turn enabled QDOS to become a ‘safe pair of hands’ for large system support at competitive rates. Allowing QDOS to win and protect certain accounts, and to transition to new vendor opportunities.
