Omnipeek provides the best network analysis workflow in the industry, making it easy to drill down, look across, compare, discover, and reduce your mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR). Omnipeek enables engineers to obtain rapid-fire analytics and insights to make the best decisions, quickly, about network’s speed, application performance, and not to mention increased security levels.
- Omnipeek Enterprise is the Savvius’ flagship network analyser software. It combines all Savvius network analysis features in a single product. It’s both a stand-alone network analyser for portable analysis and a console for analysing traffic collected on multiple captures engines and Omnipliances.
- Omnipeek Professional is perfect for small businesses and corporate workgroups and is best suited for stand-alone captures. It provides support for, network captures on multiple network interfaces in up to two Captures Engines, supporting both wired and wireless analysis, making it an excellent choice for portable analysis.VoWLAN support with QoS for each application (Voice, Video, Collaboration, etc..)
- Omnipeek Connect is the console for an organisation’s Omnipliance network analysis and recorder appliances. It provides all the capabilities of Omnipeek Enterprise with the exception of local packet capture. Only Omnipeek Connect is ideal for Network Operations Centre engineers who need to monitor multiple remote locations but who do not need to be able to capture any local traffic at the console’s location.
Capture Engine for Omnipeek:
Capture Engine for Omnipeek captures and analyses network traffic in real time and records that traffic for post-capture analysis. Network engineers can monitor distributed networks remotely and quickly identify and solve performance challenges from the office. Capture Engine for Omnipeek software probe runs as a service on dedicated Windows servers as well as on Savvius Omnipliances. By deploying Capture Engines in each business location, a network engineering team gains real-time visibility into all its remote networks. Enterprises that cannot afford to staff each office with a network engineer can use Capture Engine for Omnipeek software probes to support network service monitoring and analytics.
Capture Remote Assistant for Omnipeek:
Omnipeek Remote Assistant (ORA) deployment into an organisation allows any user anywhere to capture network data for troubleshooting. No longer do Engineers have to travel to a user’s location simply to capture network data for troubleshooting, ORA aggregates traffic from multiple wireless channels or wired segments into packet files. The end user then sends the capture files back to an authorised engineer, such as a Help Desk engineer, for analysis. Each capture file is encrypted with a unique key, enabling it to be opened only by the authorised engineer.
